Coats of arms

A selection of my heraldic work.

Heraldry

I usually draw existing coats of arms or design completely new ones for clients.

Each and every one of my drawings is created completely by hand on paper from start to finish and the original drawing can be delivered by mail.

The drawings, or so called emblazonments, follow the guidelines and standards of heraldry and are fit to be registered in a reliable roll of arms.

1

Pencil drawing

Initially a pencil drawing is created that is individually suited to the coat of arms.

2

Line drawing

Once an approved design is set in place, a final line drawing in black and white is created.

3

Coloring

As a final step the drawing is colorized with brush and inks by hand. High resolution (300 DPI) scans are made throughout the process and the finished original can be delivered to the client by mail.

The same coat of arms colored with inks: red and silver shield with a goblet and three stars
